Agents at Wishful Journeys receive an 8% to 15% commission paid by the supplier from the total cost of your vacation, minus flights. Every supplier has a different rate.

The part that nearly every resort or cruise doesn't advertise though? If you book direct through a hotel, resort, cruise line, etc. -- you're going to pay the same price you would have paid if you'd booked with an agent at Wishful Journeys.

This is referred to as Price Parity or Rate Parity.

We always recommend that our clients have a travel supplement on their medical insurance policy - especially if you are traveling overseas, or cruising in international waters.

If your policy doesn't offer emergency medical travel coverage? Our agency is a registered advisor for multiple carriers that we'd be happy to connect you with.

If the injured guest is usually the family sherpa, our agents are all registered with Ship&Play to arrange for luggage to be picked up at your resort and delivered directly to your home. Those logistics can easily be arranged within 48 hours.

We always recommend arriving at least one day before your departure for cruises.

Your agent will recommend hotels close to the port you're departing from, as well as a list of fun excursions in the area you can enjoy with your group before boarding!

We also recommend booking your return flights for one day after your cruise ends, in case the ship experiences any weather-related delays on the trip home.
